강경구

Artist Kang Kyung-koo explores inner human emotions and the primal energy of life through intense colors and rough brushstrokes.

His work reveals moments where nature and humanity, desire and anxiety collide on dense canvases; it is akin to painting that transcends simple representation to express the very flow of sensation and psychology.

Composed of a mixture of various materials such as acrylic, ink, and graphite, the canvases generate intense tension and energy through rapid brushstrokes and the accumulation of thick materiality.

In particular, flowers, figures, and symbolic landscapes reveal the brilliance of life alongside the underlying anxiety and precariousness, evoking the complex emotions of human existence.

Ultimately, Kang Kyung-koo’s paintings create a contemporary resonance by unraveling the moments where life and desire, beauty and tension intersect, through a powerful visual language.
