Jinasun’s practice originates from the coastal and dune landscapes of Anmyeondo, exploring the concept of displacement through land-based installations, aerial drawing, and expanded painting. Her work centers on the reconfiguration of relationships between material elements—such as soil, sand, roof tiles, and salt—and immaterial forces including wind, tides, and memory.
Grounded in site-specific installation and performance, she moves fluidly across multiple mediums to construct interconnected systems of perception and space. Years of meditation and disciplined practice have shaped her sensitivity to breath and rhythm, forming a fundamental basis of her artistic language.
She studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Versailles, France, and has held over 18 solo exhibitions both in Korea and internationally. Her works are included in major institutional collections, including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea.
